Michelle and her suitors went to Minnesota to meet her and get to know her. She first met fellow Minnesotans. JoeOn a one-on-1 date, she showed Joe around her high school and took him to a baseball match. Joe shared his thoughts about suicide after he realized he couldn’t play basketball due to several injuries. Michelle was open to Joe’s vulnerability and saw her feelings for him growing so she gave him a rose.
Michelle challenged the men to participate during a group date in Viking activities the next day. ClaytonMichelle was thrilled to receive the rose and won. Michelle also commended the guys for making more effort with Michelle. Chris S. did not invite Michelle to talk because of his anger at Nayte being chosen for a one-on-1 after warning her about him the previous week. Chris was upset Michelle didn’t check in on him during the group dates or thank him for standing by her before the last cocktail party.
Nayte, meanwhile, met Michelle’s best friends at the lake during their one-on-one date. They had to ask him tough questions, but they were open to his answers. Michelle wanted to move beyond the Chris S./Nayte drama. Nayte was able connect with Michelle by sharing her story about how she got sick from a toxic relationship.
Chris, on the other hand, decided that he couldn’t wait to speak to Michelle about Nayte and so he crashed their meal. Chris told her he felt “played” by the situation since his warnings fell “on deaf ears,” but he didn’t want her to make the wrong decision about Nayte. Michelle admitted that she was frustrated with Chris speaking for her at the cocktail party, and he accused her of being “fake” with him on the group date. She told him she could speak for herself and that she believed their relationship would not progress so she sent him home. Michelle then went back to Nayte, gave him a rose and told the cameras that she could be her person.
Michelle had an awkward conversation during the cocktail party with Martin about “high-maintenance” women. He thought that she misunderstood him and that he didn’t say anything wrong but worried that she would eliminate him. Martin was eventually presented with a rose. Casey Leroywere sent home.
